Further success with the VUFO master’s degree programme

Road traffic accidents are the number one cause of death among people under 50 in Germany, which is why the theme of vehicle and road safety is of such great importance. This is the consideration behind the four-semester master’s degree programme in “Traffic Accident Research and Vehicle Safety”, which offers a postgraduate specialisation for engineers from different subject backgrounds. The course is modular in structure, with distance-learning elements alternating with classroom-based teaching in Dresden. The master’s degree programme is therefore ideal for part-time study whilst continuing to work.

Master's degree programme

The master’s degree programme is offered by Dresden International University in association with VUFO, thus guaranteeing a unique combination of sound academic instruction and practical training. The master’s degree programme covers subjects such as on-scene accident investigation, accident reconstruction and accident analysis, as well as vehicle development, vehicle safety technology, road planning and fundamental knowledge in the spheres of medicine and traffic psychology.

The programme leads to the degree of Master of Science in Traffic Accident Research and Vehicle Safety (M.Sc. TARVS), an internationally recognised qualification.

The next study start is in April 2020.
