Course contents & procedures

In this basic course, VUFO provides interested participants with our expert knowledge on accident data collection, specific aspects and tasks of an expert witness, theoretical principles and practical accident reconstruction in 3 sub-modules.

  • Basics of three-dimensional accident scene recording
  • Recording of sample locations using a Leica laser scanner and photogrammetry
  • Preparation of the point clouds in suitable software (e.g. Agisoft Metashape, Leica Cyclon, Cloud Compare)
  • Overview Working with point clouds in PC-Crash
