VUFO<\/a> is currently one of three German data collection sites directly involved in data collection. As a result, we have unique insider knowledge of the database structure and the methodological foundations. <\/p>\n\nThis training course provides a systematic introduction to analyzing and querying the GIDAS database. It covers the objectives, organizational structure, and data collection process. The database structure and primary keys are also explained. In addition, the scope of variables, extrapolation methods, and weighting procedures are covered. Reconstruction data, best practices, and limitations are also discussed. Finally, specific queries in MS Access are addressed. <\/p>\n\n
